Building the Next Generation of Transition Skaters

Park skateboarding challenges athletes to ride bowls, transitions, and vert features where they must generate speed, control momentum, and confidently perform airs and coping tricks. In contrast, street skating focuses on technical tricks over rails, ledges, stairs, and urban-style obstacles.

Our Aspiring Academy – Junior Development Class bridges both disciplines, giving young skaters the well-rounded foundation needed to progress confidently in modern park environments.

This program is designed for committed skaters who are ready to move beyond basic fundamentals and begin developing higher-level transition and street skills in a structured, professionally coached setting.

What Your Child Will Develop

Throughout the 8-week term, athletes will work on:

• Drop-ins on 5ft, 7ft, and 10ft mini ramp
• Drop-ins on the 7ft Resi section for progressive confidence building
• Controlled carving (frontside and backside)
• Introduction to basic lip tricks on 5ft ramps
• Street progression including:
  • Board-slide rails
  • Kickflips
  • Stairs

Each session is carefully structured to ensure athletes build confidence, control, and technical accuracy before progressing to more advanced features.
