Building the Next Level of Transition Skaters

Park skateboarding is built on bowls, transitions, and vert ramps — environments where athletes must generate speed, control momentum, and perform airs and coping tricks with precision and confidence.

This requires far more than basic trick knowledge. It demands strong foundations in pumping, carving, line choice, air awareness, and commitment.

Our LVLUP Ramp Transition Development Program is specifically designed for skaters who are ready to progress beyond fundamentals and begin developing the technical control required for high-level park skating.

Why This Program Matters

A key component of this class is training on our Jump Box Mini Mega with resi landing.

The Mini Mega provides a safe and progressive bridge between 5ft/7ft mini ramp skating and full outdoor park environments. The jump box and resi allow athletes to:

  • Build confidence with speed and height
  • Develop correct timing and take-off technique
  • Practise trick execution safely
  • Improve air awareness before transferring to concrete

This type of structured progression is essential for skaters aiming to confidently ride outdoor bowls, larger park features, and competitive-style courses.

Entry Requirements

This program is not for beginner skaters.

Participants must be LVL 3 or able to confidently perform:

  • Backside 50-50
  • Rock n Roll
  • Ollie up a ledge
  • Half Cab Rock Fakie
  • Frontside & Backside Ollie
  • Ollie over hips and banks
  • Drop in on a 5ft–7ft mini ramp

These requirements ensure all skaters have the foundation needed to safely generate speed and begin aerial progression.

If you are unsure whether your child meets these criteria, please contact us before enrolling.

Skills Developed in This Program

Athletes will refine their existing skills while progressing into:

  • Drop-ins on the Mini Mega / Jump Box (with trick execution)
  • Controlled carving (frontside and backside)
  • Advanced lip tricks
  • Drop-ins on vert
  • Speed generation and line building for bowls
  • Air control and coping precision

Why Train at LVLUP?

At LVLUP, progression is structured and intentional. With small group ratios (1:6–7), athletes receive focused technical coaching, ensuring they develop correct habits from the outset.

We focus on:

  • Safe, progressive exposure to height and speed
  • Technical accuracy before amplitude
  • Strong movement patterns that transfer to outdoor parks
  • Long-term development, not short-term tricks

This program is designed to build confident, capable transition skaters with the foundations needed for long-term progression in park and competitive skating.

We look forward to supporting your child’s next stage of development this term.
