ELO BOWL SKATEPARK LESSONS ARE BACK -  THURSDAY AFTERNOONS WITH OUR EXPERIENCED ELO COACH ASH WILCOMES

Take your transition skating to the next level with our ELO Bowl Lessons. These sessions are focused entirely on developing the skills, confidence, and technique needed to skate bowls with control, speed, and style.

FOUNDATION LEVEL:

This lesson is designed for skaters who have some basic transition experience but are still developing their confidence, speed, and control in a bowl environment.

We’ll focus on pumping, carving, maintaining speed, kickturns, basic coping skills, drop-ins, reading the bowl, choosing lines, and connecting transitions. Coaches will help you understand how to use your body and board to control speed and direction while becoming more comfortable skating the different features of the bowl.

The goal is to build a strong foundation of confidence, control, consistency, and flow, giving you the skills needed to progress toward more advanced bowl riding and tricks.

EMERGING LEVEL:

These sessions focus on generating and maintaining speed, advanced pumping and carving, line selection, coping work, stalls, grinds, airs, and linking multiple sections of the bowl into smooth, flowing runs. You’ll learn how to read the shape and features of the bowl, make better line choices, and use speed and positioning to set up your next trick.

Our coach will work with you to improve technique, timing, flow, consistency, and style, while introducing more challenging tricks and combinations at a pace suited to your ability.

This level is designed for skaters who are ready to move beyond the basics and start developing their own approach to bowl skating, while continuing to build the confidence and skills needed for more advanced transition skating.
